Course Overview:
Majors McGuire Inc. provides Respirator Protection training to workers that are exposed to respiratory hazards. They receive the necessary information to protect themselves from dangerous dusts, gases, fumes, mists, or vapours. Canadian Standard Association (CSA) standard Z94.4-18 (Selection, Use & Care of Respirators) has been referenced in the development of the course. To complete the training, respirator fit tests are performed on all participants to ensure the respirator protection they are using fits properly.

Course Length: 2-3 Hours
Maximum Class Size: 12
Certification: Recommended - every 2 years or when there are physical changes that will impact the respirator's fit
Notes:
Training is required prior to respirator fit tests.
Each participant takes approximately 5-10 minutes for the fit test.
Everyone must be clean shaven with no facial hair in the area of the seal.
